Hey everyone, let's talk about the incredible flexibility of our sound system, designed to give you the perfect audio experience, no matter the size of your event.
This is all thanks to our modular cabinet system. What does that mean for you? It means we can completely customize our setup to perfectly match the needs of your venue and performance.
For Bands:
No more worrying about an oversized or undersized PA! Whether you're playing an intimate club or a larger hall, we can scale our system to fit. We can bring in a full rig for maximum impact or just use a quarter of our system with cabinets conveniently pole-mounted for smaller spaces. This adaptability ensures you get optimal sound coverage without cluttering the stage or overwhelming the room.
For the Public:
You're guaranteed a fantastic listening experience every time. Our modular approach means we're precisely tailoring the sound delivery to your environment. From a more focused sound in smaller settings to a powerful, immersive experience in larger venues, you'll always hear your favorite bands with clarity and impact.
With a range from 2 cabinets for more intimate setups all the way up to a total of 8 for larger productions, we're equipped to deliver top-notch audio wherever you are. It's all about providing the right sound, at the right level, for the perfect show!

Bass Cabinets: Feel the Bass, Not the Boom!
Hey everyone, let's talk about the other star of our modular sound system: our bass cabinets. These aren't your average subwoofers; they're designed to give you a powerful, clear bass experience out front without overwhelming the stage.
We can bring anywhere from 2 to 8 cabinets depending on the size and needs of your venue. But here's the game-changer, especially for bands: we run our AIR18s in a cardioid configuration.
What does that mean for you?
Unlike most bass systems where the low frequencies are omnidirectional (meaning they go everywhere), our cardioid setup dramatically reduces the bass energy behind the speakers. How? We achieve this by running the sound going out the back of the cabinets out of phase.
The result?
- For the Audience: You get an incredible, rich, and deep bottom end that you can really feel.
- For the Band: You'll notice a significant drop in disruptive bass frequencies on stage. This means a clearer, less muddy stage mix, allowing you to hear yourselves and each other better. No more fighting with overwhelming bass!
In short, our bass cabinets deliver a fantastic front-of-house sound while keeping your stage environment clean and controlled. It's a win-win for everyone involved in the show!

Hear Every Note: Our CDL12P System Explained!
Hey everyone, let's talk about some of the tech behind our amazing sound system and why it makes a huge difference for both bands and the audience. We're talking about our PreSonus CDL12P speakers, and their unique design is a game-changer.
For Bands: Your Sound, Perfectly Delivered
You've worked hard on your music, and you want everyone to hear it clearly. Our CDL12P speakers help us achieve that with incredible precision. Each of these cabinets has a 120-degree horizontal coverage, meaning your sound spreads wide across the venue.1
But here's where it gets really cool: the vertical dispersion. Each CDL12P enclosure has a vertical dispersion of 15 degrees.2 This means when we "array" them (stack them up), we can precisely aim the sound. Our typical setup uses 4 cabinets per side, giving us a total of 60 degrees of vertical dispersion.
Why is that 15 degrees so important?
It's all about control and consistency. With this level of control, we can fine-tune the sound so that it's virtually the same volume close to the stage as it is at the very back of the venue! This is because we can individually adjust the volume of each speaker in the array. This means:
- No more blasting the front row: You won't have people right in front of the stage getting overwhelmed while those in the back can barely hear.
- Clear monitoring: You'll hear a consistent mix from front to back, helping you deliver your best performance.
For the Public: The Perfect Listening Experience, Everywhere
Ever been to a show where the sound was great up front but muddy in the back, or vice-versa? Not with our system!
The CDL12P's unique hybrid point-source/line-array design gives us incredibly focused pattern control and even sound pressure levels (SPL) across all frequencies.3 Combined with that crucial 15-degree vertical dispersion per cabinet, we can shape the sound field to ensure:
- Comfortable listening zones: Whether you're right by the stage, in the middle of the crowd, or hanging out at the back, the sound level will be comfortable and clear.
- Every detail heard: You'll experience the full richness and clarity of the music, from the crisp highs to the solid lows, no matter where you're standing.
In short, that seemingly small 15 degrees of vertical control, combined with the ability to adjust each speaker's volume, allows us to create an exceptional and comfortable listening experience for everyone in the audience, and a perfectly balanced sound for the bands on stage.

Hey everyone, whether you're performing or in the audience, the microphones we use are crucial for capturing every nuance of the sound. We pride ourselves on having a diverse and high-quality collection of microphones to ensure every instrument and voice is heard clearly and precisely.
For Bands: Your Sound, Captured with Precision
We've got the right mic for every application, ensuring your performance sounds its best:
- Shure SM57: A legendary workhorse! You'll see these on snare drums, guitar amps, and a variety of instruments. Known for their durability and ability to handle high sound pressure levels, they deliver a punchy, clear sound.
- Shure Beta 91A: This is our go-to for kick drums and pianos. It's a boundary microphone with a tailored low-end response, giving you that powerful, defined kick drum sound with plenty of attack, or a clear, full piano tone.1
- Shure Wireless with SM58 capsules: For vocalists who love to move! These wireless handhelds give you the classic, reliable sound of the SM58 vocal microphone with the freedom of wireless performance.
- Sennheiser e 609: A favorite for guitar cabinets, often seen hanging right in front of the speaker.2 Its flat, super-cardioid design minimizes bleed from other instruments, giving you a focused, rich guitar tone.3
- Sennheiser e 604: Designed specifically for toms and snare drums, these compact mics clip right onto the drum rim, making for a clean stage and excellent isolation.4 They handle high SPLs with ease, delivering a clear, articulate drum sound.5
- Sennheiser e 835: Another excellent choice for vocals, providing a clear, presence-boosted sound that helps vocals cut through the mix, even with singers who move around the mic.6
- Sennheiser MD 421 (pre Mark II series): A true studio and live classic, known for its versatility. We use these on a wide range of sources, including toms, guitar cabinets, and even bass cabinets, for their full-bodied sound and excellent transient response.
- Earthworks DM 20: These are exceptional condenser microphones for snare and tom drums.7 They offer incredible clarity, detail, and isolation, capturing the true tone of your drums with minimal bleed from other sources. Drummers love how accurate and vibrant these make their kit sound.
- Electro-Voice PL 33: Specifically voiced for kick drums and low-frequency instruments, the PL33 delivers the powerful punch and snap needed for a tight, defined bass drum sound.
- Electro-Voice PL 35: Our choice for toms and snare drums, these dynamic mics are designed for natural tones and easy positioning, ensuring clear and impactful drum sounds.

We've got a versatile collection of monitors, including trusted names like Yamaha, JBL, and even Carvin. Most of these are equipped with 15-inch speakers and a horn, providing robust sound and plenty of volume to cut through the mix on stage.
The Alesis Strike: A Drummer's (and Everyone Else's) Dream
A real crowd-pleaser, and our personal favorite. The Alesis Strike monitor. While originally made for electronic drums, its design makes it truly exceptional for a variety of instruments and vocals.
Here's why the Alesis Strike stands out:
- Compact Powerhouse: It features a 12-inch speaker and a horn, yet it packs a massive 2000 watts of power! This means incredible headroom and crystal-clear sound, even at high volumes.
- Precision Bass (Especially for Kick Drums): This is where it shines. Because it's designed for electronic drums, it's engineered to reproduce the low end of a kick drum with incredible accuracy. Unlike many other monitors that can sound boomy or muddy, the Alesis Strike gives you that solid, punchy kick drum sound without excessive, uncontrolled bass. This is crucial for drummers to feel their groove and for the rest of the band to have a tight, defined rhythm section.

Behind every great performance is a powerful control center, and we've invested in top-tier equipment to ensure your show sounds and looks incredible!
For Bands: Total Control Over Your Sound
Our heart of the audio system is the PreSonus StudioLive Series III 64S digital console. This isn't just a mixer; it's a powerhouse designed to give us extreme precision and flexibility with your sound:
- Extreme Processing Power: This console is built with a quad-core FLEX DSP engine, meaning it has an incredible amount of raw power to handle complex audio processing.1 This translates to pristine sound quality and the ability to apply sophisticated effects without compromise.
- 8 Effect Loops: We have a wide array of built-in effects, from lush reverbs to tight delays, all on dedicated "loops" that we can apply to individual instruments or vocals to craft the perfect sonic landscape.
- 32 Mixes: This is huge for monitors! We can create up to 32 independent mixes, which means every band member can get their own personalized monitor mix. No more fighting over what you hear on stage – you get exactly what you need to perform your best.
- Professional Processing on Every Channel: Every single input channel on this console is equipped with a full suite of professional-grade tools:
- Gate: To eliminate unwanted noise between notes or phrases.
- Multiple Compressor Types: To shape the dynamics of each instrument, from subtle smoothing to powerful punch.
- Multiple EQ Types: To precisely sculpt the tone of every sound, ensuring clarity and balance.2
- High Pass Filter: To remove unwanted low-end rumble and muddiness, making the overall mix cleaner.
This level of control allows us to truly optimize the sound for every instrument and vocal, delivering a polished, powerful, and clear sound to both the stage and the audience.
For the Public: An Immersive Visual Experience
Beyond the sound, we also create a dynamic visual spectacle with our lighting system, all controlled by our Chamsys lighting console.
- Universes of Control: In lighting, a "universe" refers to a set of 512 control channels for lighting fixtures.3 Our Chamsys console can manage up to 4 universes, giving us immense control over a vast number of lights and effects. Typically, we run 3 universes, which is more than enough to create stunning displays.
- Diverse Lighting Fixtures: We've got a full arsenal of lights to paint the stage:
- 15 Yoke Lights: These are powerful, intelligent moving lights that can pan, tilt, change color, project patterns (gobos), and create dynamic washes. They add a professional, high-energy feel to any show.
- 60 LED PAR Lights: These versatile lights are our workhorses for washing the stage with vibrant colors, creating atmospheric backdrops, and providing general illumination. With 60 of them, we can craft intricate color schemes and effects.
- Geysers: Think "vertical fog machines with light." These create dramatic, instantaneous blasts of illuminated fog, adding exciting "pyro-style" effects without the actual fire.
- Hazers: These create a fine, atmospheric mist that subtly enhances the visibility of light beams, making those moving light patterns and laser effects truly pop and add depth to the stage.
- 6-Watt Lasers: For truly mind-bending visual effects! Our powerful lasers cut through the air with stunning beams and patterns. (Important Note for Everyone: Lasers are only used under strict, proper safety conditions to ensure the well-being of both performers and the audience.)
